Georgetown TN is an unincorporated community located at the junction of Bradley, Hamilton, and Meigs counties in Southeast Tennessee. The community is located along State Route 60. Georgetown is a 100% rural area known for it's quietness. However with the current growth in Bradley and Hamilton counties the state of Tennessee as well as Bradley and Hamilton counties have applied for and has received grants to come in and updated the roads inside of Georgetown to handle the expected growth with in Georgetown itself that has already begun.

The Bradley County portion of Georgetown is part of the Cleveland, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Hamilton County portion is part of the Chattanooga, TN-GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Georgetown TN has in recent year’s experienced a population growth moving into the Georgetown TN boundaries’ from the city of Cleveland/Bradley county TN from the west and from the city of Chattanooga/Hamilton county from the south. Due to large corporate growth in each of the municipalities around Georgetown TN. This growth is expected to continue however Georgetown residence are striving very hard to make sure Georgetown Tennessee maintains it's rural slow paced charm.
